China(Guangdong) Pilot Free Trade Zone
Guangdong is a coastal province in South China on the north shore of South China Sea, borders Hong Kong and Macau.
The Guangdong Free Trade Zone is located in the Pearl River Delta Economic Zone of China. The main purpose of the development is to promote cultural exchanges between Hong Kong and Macau, further develop economic and trade exchanges between Hong Kong and Macau, and open the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road. From 2014 to 2018, the GDP of Nansha region increased from 102.6 billion yuan to 145.9 billion yuan, an average annual growth rate of 11%. The number of registered companies increased from 8,400 to 90,535, an increase of nearly 10 times. In 2018, 44 investment projects of Fortune 500 companies were newly introduced, and the total number reached 143. In addition, the total production value of Nansha in 2019 also increased from 102.6 billion yuan to 145.9 billion Yuan, an average annual growth rate of 11%.
